True School Stories: Corona Edition

What the media does is give you snap shots; it gives you something to focus on. It's the same thing that happens when we(myself and private citizens) post although our reach is nothing compared to theirs. I can reach hundreds; they can reach billions. The difference is, when I focus your attention, it's to highlight a trend or pattern. When they do it, it's a tool of distraction.
Right now they are talking about select school districts trying to decide how to proceed with the upcoming school year: virtual or face to face. Three Atlanta metro area districts have already decided to go 100% virtual for the start of the school year. So why are the rest of them playing with us like what's going to happen isn't a foregone conclusion? It's going to be a domino effect.
What I've said before is we should have had a tailored approach to dealing with the Corona virus. You didn't need to shut down the whole economy. You just pay the most vulnerable populations and their immediate families to quarantine and self isolate. So why couldn't they do that? Because it would be old people and Black people. Anything that appears to solely or primarily help Black people is a nonstarter. So you have to enact a blanket plan. And that's why you had to shut down the whole economy. And the same is true with the schools. They aren't going to have some schools open and others closed. The reason why is slightly different and I'll tell you why in a minute.
First, let me address an issue that I've seen several times about the ability of schools to maintain a sanitary environment. Some have wondered how these schools can maintain a sanitary environment when they can't keep toilet paper in the stalls. First, they can do it. They choose not to do it. And the reason is your kids are savages. How many times do you want to call Super Mario to unclog a urinal stuffed with tissue and paper towels before you decide to go paperless? Your kids write on the wall with their feces(probably their best writing) and generally behave like lower order primates. They use hand soap to make a mess instead of cleaning one up. That's why you have no soap or toilet paper in the bathrooms.
We have schools that are going to go virtual for the first quarter and then re-evaluate the situation in 10 weeks. Oh, so you'll decide whether or not to re-open….at the start of cold and flu season? Are you seeing the game being played with you? They are waiting for word from their masters who speak through the media. The mainstream media is the mouthpiece of their masters. If there's a vaccine from Bill Gates by the end of September and we pivot towards lines of cars waiting to get a nanobot solution injected into their butt cheek, then we can re-open. If there's something like a nicotine patch to fix all the "bugs" in the nanobogs that cause your body to seize up like their computers, then we can re-open. But what is the likelihood of that? They are all going to follow suit.
But why?
You want to be the superintendent to buck the trend? Huh? You want to be the maverick who says, "100% Brick and mortar, bitches." Let me tell you how that will play out if they don't get the okay from their masters.

"Top story at noon. Little Timmy Johnson is fighting for his life after having a severe reaction to the Corona virus. Timmy attends Walter Elementary School in one of the few districts that decided to remain open during the height of the pandemic. Coming up later this hour we will hear from his mother who has some strong words for the school leadership."
By the way, the bespectacled white man who will appear with her will be legal counsel. You want to be that district? Yeah, I didn't think so. Understand that this all about reconciling orders given in private from the top with public perception. This is mainstream politics in a nutshell. They don't give a sh!t about the safety of your kids or employees. Don't let these Ph.D's intimidate you either. Most of them operate on the very lowest frequency possible. If any one of them was serious, they would be telling you the following:"There will be no face to face instruction until January of 2021 at the very earliest and probably not for the entire school year." That would be taking a principled stand. But that's not what is happening here. They're waiting for permission. What you should be asking is permission from whom? And why?
