So schools are out for next few months, but what do you do when it's time to go back? If you do nothing, then it kind seems like the whole closure was bull sh!t in the first place. If you start abiding by CDC guidelines, well now you have a logistical nightmare. Can you still have 30 kids in a class? What about lunch in the cafeteria? What that ride home on the school bus gonna look like? And you have to open the schools because that is day care for most workers. So tell me, what steps do you think schools will take that are commensurate with the threat as currently reported by the mainstream media?

The media will have to start pivoting towards the notion that it's mostly contained and there's effective treatments despite that never being the case this fast in the history of the world. You need to start doing that soon so when the schools offer complimentary masks and put a few soap dispensers in the hallways you can feel like they've done something and your children are safe.

As far as I'm concerned, the best thing that could come from this is a greater transition to virtual and blended learning. I like working from home. Honestly, this should have been the case 20 years ago. But there's a reason online work is still largely a sh!t show and a breeding ground for scams. If you allow teachers to work from home, you don't need as many of them. That's true, but that's not main issue. You don't need most administrators. You don't need as much building space or maintenance. You don't need bus drivers. You don't need cafeteria workers. You don't need as much gas and electric. You don't need as much food. You don't need trucks to deliver food and other products. Do you see how there's a tremendous ripple effect? That's why you have commute to an office building to a do a job you could easily do from home.
