Here is part of what Roland Martin put up on his screen in order to make his point that the CBC had already addressed the concerns brought up in Ice Cube’s Contract With Black America.

I don't really care about making Juneteenth a Holiday, but let's take a look at a couple of the more salient points here.

Take a few moments and skim through the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act and let me know if 1) you think it’s comprehensible to the average person and 2) if it does anything to address the wrongs committed against Black People specifically.

Here’s some text taken from the page for the CBC’s Jobs and Justice Act:

Some of the provisions of the bill include:

Robust funding to combat the COVID-19 pandemic through targeted contact tracing, testing, and treatment, along with research and data.
Raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
$7.5 billion for investments in transportation infrastructure through the successful “TIGER” program, which provides grants to local governments to fund innovative highway, bridge, and transit projects.
$7.5 billion to help specifically upgrade water infrastructure and ensure clean drinking water for families.
Encourages government contractors on infrastructure projects to actively recruit, hire, and provide on-the-job training to African-Americans ages 18 to 39 through existing jobs, apprenticeships, and “earn while you learn” programs.
Expands the grants for HBCUs to help with acquiring the technological resources needed to continue offering competitive academic programs in the STEM field.
Establishes “baby bonds” to give every American child a seed savings account of $1,000 at birth to aid with long term savings goals.
Incentivizes food service providers such as grocers, retailers, and nonprofits to help eradicate food deserts, which disproportionately impacts communities of color.
Provides the Minority Business Development Agency, the only federal agency dedicated to supporting Black businesses, with statutory authorization. This means more access to capital, contracts and markets.

Are you reading this? Again, do I have a problem with those measures? No. How about a Bill saying clean water is good for you and encouraging Americans, especially Americans of color, to drink more of it? That’s fine. But we’ve seen too many laws that seem well-intentioned that either do nothing for Black people or actively harm us. Are they specifically talking about improving the lives of (American) Black people in those bullet points? NO! The only item that specifically and exclusively names Black Americans (African-Americans) has no dollar amount tied to it. Instead, it talks about encouragement. Well, I encourage everyone to tell the CBC to kiss my ass. They aren’t about the business of helping Black people. They are on that “rising tide lifts all boats sh!t” just like Obama.

The Jobs and Justice Act is basically what Kamala Harris would promote. And if you think that's a boon for Black people, or that even a majority of whatever comes from it would benefit Black people, you better think again. Recall what Harris said when asked if there would be specific provisions made just for Black people?

The CBC consists of a bunch of Kamalas: bootlicks, prostitutes, turncoats, and snitches.

That brings us to Maxine Waters. I know my calling her a b!tch rankles many. After all, she’s old. And doesn't growing old require us to give that person respect for successfully not dying and keeping a seat warm in the "hallowed halls of congress?" The answer, of course, is no. But don't worry, there are plenty of other Black men who will show more respect to this b!tch. There’s T.Hasan Johnson who will give you good, profanity-free commentary addressing the misandry running rampant in the so-called Black community. You also have lawyers like Dennis Spurling who will tell you she’s out of touch. I’m here to tell you she’s very much in touch…in touch with her inner b!tch. She is a fossil that needs to be re-buried.

I did a search through my blogs and found that I had been saying, "Black women are not our allies" for at least ten years. I phrased it that way on purpose. I wasn’t trying to tell you what to think. I wanted you to arrive at the correct conclusion on your own. It’s possible that they (Black women) were simply doing their own thing and meant us no malice. Well, ten years later I think that phrase needs to be officially retired. Black women (collectively) are our enemies and it doesn’t matter if you are talking about your minimum wage-earning baby moms, the gate-keeping b!tches in H.R., or members of congress. They all have the same basic misandrist programming and I’m not going to pretend they are anything but an impediment to Black men and thus Black progress. I’ll allow Ice Cube and the aforementioned well-credentialed brothers to pretend with them as to not give them any room to successfully turn the story to the fact that they are indeed a bunch of b1tches instead of what the subject at hand is about. But this is a no pretend zone right here.

Now, to what this Australowbitchecus Africanus said and what it means for Black men going forward. I have said on several occasions that the racist in office still has the edge. This is why, despite the firestorm of press saying he’s all but lost the election, they’re still very much worried. You don’t need to convince the voting public that someone is a loser if he or she is indeed a loser. It's obvious. If you have to convince them, then you are the loser trying to become a winner. Now, I put Trump's chances at victory at around 55%. This goes against what the consensus is. In particular, I want to highlight one historian and professor who correctly predicted every presidential election since 1984. His name is Allan Lichtman. Here is what he has to say:

I actually like his 13 keys. Based on his analysis, Biden is going to be the winner. The reason I think it’s still slightly more likely that it will go the other way is that I think there is room for nuance in some of his keys. His 13 keys are:

Midterm Gains, No Contest, Incumbency, No Third Party, Strong Short Term Economy, Strong Long Term Economy, Major Policy Change, No Scandal, No Foreign/Military Failure, Foreign Military Success, No Social Unrest, Charismatic Incumbent and Uncharismatic Challenger.

For several of those keys, the results are easily obtainable: Midterm election gains in the House and Senate can be counted. Whether he is an incumbent or not can easily be determined. Others are mostly clear. For example, politicians often try to lie about the strength of the economy, but you can look at things like the real labor participation rate and see if it even slightly matches up with manipulated gov’t statistics. You can then reasonably call it one way or the other. There are areas, however, that are very open to interpretation and subject to outside factors. For example, let’s take a look at the key about scandals. Ostensibly, Trump has had a scandal. In fact, he has had several. But here’s a question: What President hasn’t had a scandal? Can you think of one? I can’t. Squeaky clean Barack Obama— the first Gay President— had one that we know about. You don’t remember Operation Fast and Furious? Most of his supporters probably don’t remember or care either. And part of the reason why it never bubbled like Trump's shenanigans is that it wasn’t pushed by the global media like Trump’s scandal(s). It isn’t just a question of having a scandal. It matters how closely the President is connected to the scandal, how it's portrayed in the media, and if reasonable people actually care about it.

Do people really care?

Let me ask it a slightly different way: Would apolitical people care? Do you see how this goes beyond whether or not you give it 24-hour coverage? If you talk about it all day on CNN, you’re only speaking to people who already agree with you. The question is: would average people and non-partisans agree that the alleged offense should rise to the level of a taxpayer-funded impeachment? I would argue that Trump’s impeachment is roughly on the same level as Clinton’s impeachment. Zealots were gung-ho for it, but most reasonable people outside the Beltway really didn’t give a sh!t. So yes, it’s a scandal, but you have to ask if average Americans are invested enough to want their tax money spent on the business of prosecuting it? You need the media to care, but you also need to be able to make a compelling case of willful wrongdoing by the president that affects the nation in obvious ways. I just don’t think enough people care enough about what Trump did to count it against him. At least, I don't think they don’t count his transgressions against him any more than they do against Biden with the various transgressions committed by both him and his son. Could Fast and Furious have mattered? Perhaps so, but we’ll never know because Obama used his Executive privilege to bury it and the House later dropped it. Even if he didn’t, unless there was evidence of him personally handing guns over to an MS-13 gang member with a tattooed face, I don’t think it would have amounted to much and it would have been a waste of taxpayer money to pursue it. So all Presidents have scandals, but you really need to step outside of your political feelings to evaluate it.

This leads us to the last thing. Does the election matter to Black men? Well, I don't think it matters who wins. I don’t care if Trump edges out Biden, which I think is likely, or if Biden pulls off the upset. Black men are going to continue to awaken, both intellectually and politically. We are going to continue to demand tangibles in exchange for our vote. Yes, it will be an increasingly transactional process going forward as it should be. We are going to learn that our enemies are many and everywhere. If Trump wins, then roughly 6 percent of the population will be blamed by Maxine Waters and many other Black women for the downfall of a nation (even though 80+ percent of Black men will foolishly vote for Biden). If Biden wins, then the disrespect to us will continue unabated. The near 20% of Black male voters who voted for Trump will represent all Black men. Cube’s Contract will be canceled and the big britches b!tches will be smug and happy to celebrate what they believe to be our political irrelevance and/or impotence.

To all of that, I say this: Perfect!

Let their hatred for us be as honest and open as they say Trump’s is. Let the divestment continue. Let the percentage of Black men who refuse to vote for the Democrats go up to 30%. Then 40%. Let it continue to rise until the smugness stops and the disrespect ends. And take note of all their reactions along the way and make sure that they pay for all of it when the bill inevitably comes due.
