Check the vid
But honestly, you could check any one of his vids in his financial playlist and find the same dishonest rhetoric.
The 1st question you have to ask is "How did you get your money?" They always skip that part and jump right to the whole gospel of prosperity/inspirational shtick. Why? Because telling you how they got their money adds context to their story and destroys their false image as a rugged individual who discovered the secret to success and then tackled the world. How did Donald Trump get his start? A 1 to 60+ million dollar loan from his ¿Klan-sympathizing? father. Yes, I know there's no evidence that he was officially a member. He just happened to hang around the scummiest of the scum bags his entire life. It's like finding out someone hangs around NAMBLA events and takes flights to Epstein's Island. That doesn't mean he's a pedo, but do you want to hang out with him? No. Why not? Because that's not your type of crowd. How about Zuckerberg? His father offered him full tuition at Harvard or his own McDonald's franchise upon graduating high school.
It's easy to take a shot on someone else's dime. What about these Coal Osteen muh'f#ckas (MTR, Kevin Samuels, etc.)? They clearly didn't have that advantage growing up. I have to give them some credit because they danced for their coins. They are the modern equivalent of the aspiring ball player or rapper looking to strike it rich. The problem is they aren't telling you that they danced to get where they are. It's like seeing Ice Cube as nothing but a rich, upstanding activist and actor. Nah, he started off doing gangsta rap: Drug dealing, womanizing, murder … glorifying all that sh!t for public consumption. That porn star living the life you want, right? Well, he started off taking it up the ass. You want to live that part too? Nah, you just want to skip to the part where you f#ck bad b!tches. I get it. Look, they ain't trying to show you how the sausage is made or played, homeboy. They bypass all that and go right to sounding like Dame Dash:
Interviewer: How did you make your money? Dame: I took the money and I flipped it.
See the bullshit now? MTR made his money on Youtube, but like Sports and rap, it is a pathway for select individuals who are extremely lucky. There are probably thousands of people making 6 figures (or close) on youtube, but tens of millions of channels. Your chance of living off youtube like MTR is less than one-tenth of one-tenth of one-tenth of one-tenth of a percent. And how many of the top ten earners do you think are Black? Go look it up. I'll wait.
What the abundance mindset mountebanks are doing is no different than a lotto winner saying "I won the lotto and you can too." Is that theoretically possible? Yes. Is it a stupid thing to say? Absolutely. Most lotto winners know not to say you can do what they did because they know they got lucky. And the same is true with professional sports, rap or youtube stardom. They got lucky. That isn't to say they didn't work hard or that they don't have talent, but that the biggest component is luck because there simply aren't enough opportunities for everyone to experience that level of success. The easiest way to get wealthy is to already be wealthy. For the rest of us, it's the roulette wheel. Oh, that's sort of a depressing message, isn't it? Not the sort of thing people want to hear, right? And that's why they don't.
One of the smart things MTR did, which he doesn't say, is having the most attractive women he could find on camera with him. Why? Well, we all know that women have a much easier time getting eyeballs on them. You could be a genius level intellect and never break a thousand views on any video. Let a b!tch with a plunging neckline say the same thing less well and simps are falling all over themselves to join her patreon. People like MTR snd Samuels aren't stupid. MTR has an MBA and Samuels is an image consultant. That implies at least a basic understanding of marketing and how this consumer economy works.
They don't focus on what they actually did to get where they are because they know it doesn't help just like your favorite rapper isn't going to rap about getting dangled out a window or made to drink piss at gun point. Like your favorite rapper, they also know having women around and/or having them talking with you will improve their bottom line because, to paraphrase 2pac, "Do not rap for the n!ggas. Rap for the b!tches. The b!tches will buy your album and the n!gg@s will want what the b!tches want." You get the women to show up and the men follow.
It's very difficult for me to have conversations with with many people these days because they are unwilling to be honest about their situation and ours as a people. Talking about get rich quick schemes or the definition of high value to a group that literally owns almost nothing is nothing but a con job. The only way forward, collectively speaking, is through gainful employment. Talking about anything else is b.s. at this point. The White middle class was created by low to no interest loans through our tax dollars in the form of things like FHA subsidies and loans. There was also things like the GI bill which provided benefits and free money to Veterans to start a business, buy a home or go to school. We [Black people] were traditionally barred from those things. It should be absolutely clear to anyone with a room temperature IQ and working moral compass that this country owes us everything and has given us nothing. Barring reparations which should do all of those things and more for Black people in perpetuity, the only way for us to move forward collectively is through gainful employment. You have to have a job that pays a living wage and allows you to save money. With the money you save, you can then take your shot. That might mean starting a business but, for most people, it will mean paying off a home or having life insurance. This is what I mean when I say we start off as seed planters. You then either pass something down or laterally. Showing your a$$h*le on Onlyfans or lying on Youtube isn't a way forward for the masses.
